Mrs. Kempton has been with the University of Richmond since August 1980.  From 1980-1994, Mrs. Kempton worked for what was formerly known as the Department of Modern Foreign Languages.  The following four years were spent as the Administrative Secretary for Dr. Richard A. Mateer, former Dean of Richmond College. From 1998 to the present, Mrs. Kempton has been the Administrative Secretary for the Department of Sociology and Anthropology.
